William H. Hayne letter to [Joseph M.] Stoddart [manuscript], 1892 Mar 26.

Writes to thank Stoddart for his recent note, and adds that in his time of sorrow it has been a great comfort to hear from his friends. He says he will be glad to see the proofs of his article upon his father's methods of work, and the portraits, and thanks him for offering to send them. He encloses a quatrain that he believes Stoddart may like for [Lippincott's?] magazine.
